I have been trying to spend time in the garden after winter, but the weather, doesn't seem to want to cooperate. A couple days of Wow...it's tooo warm and then suddenly raining and cold. This lends for doing things inside on rainy days.
I have been crocheting the blanket almost everyday and it seems like it's taking forever to get any lead way. I started over from the original design and will be showing you the new one soon. I really love it!
For now it's painting a wall with chalkboard paint and adding a design. I can not tell you how long it took me to find something I liked. There are so many quotes out there on Internet Land it makes it difficult, so for now, I decided on this one.
I used black as you can see and wasn't really pleased with the chalk board paint. I just don't think it works as good as they say and I have used it before. Personally I like using it on furniture with a bit of distressing. So there I was on a cold rainy day painting this one section of the wall, I have to admit it felt good to be doing something different, since I couldn't go outside. After I was done painting I believe I did 3 coats I left it cure for 2 days, during which I had to find something I liked to add to the wall. So I went to Pinterest and found a few things I liked. I choose this quote and plan on leaving it for awhile. It was a lot of work to get it done, not that I didn't have the time, I just didn't realize all the work it takes to do a wall size quote. But like everything else I do I pushed through and got it done.
I have to say I am pleased! The quote I used off Pinterest I changed up the design a bit to my own personal liking. It read:

When I decide to change the quote I will post the new.
